Cannes 2012: Stars shine at amfAR Gala
It’s undoubtedly one of the most star-studded events in the annual Cannes Film Festival diary, and last night’s 2012 Cinema Against AIDS amfAR Gala didn’t disappoint.
Held at the exclusive Hotel du Cap, Eden Roc, in Cap d’Anitbes on the French Riviera, the lavish party featured a performance from Jessie J, 24, as well as a charity auction and fashion presentation hosted by former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld, 57.
Heidi Klum, 38, Diane Kruger, 35, Alec Baldwin, 54, and Gerard Butler, 42, were just some of the A-listers in attendance at the swanky bash, with the red carpet arrivals showcasing a whole host of varying trends.
Paris Hilton, 31, Janet Jackson, 46, and Dutch model Doutzen Kroes, 27, opted for stunning white numbers, while Russian beauty Irina Shayk, 26, Heidi Klum and Milla Jovovich, 36, chose neutral tones for their dresses.
Elsewhere, Petra Nemcova, 32, and Kylie Minogue, 43, wowed in red, while Kirsten Dunst, 30, showcased a stunning aqua and blue gown by Louis Vuitton.
Nina Dobrev, 23, dazzled in a blue sequin Elie Saab number, while Kim Kardashian, 31, stole the show and exuded Hollywood glamour in an eye-catching yellow floor-length dress, which she paired with 1940s-style curls and a slick of red lipstick.
