The tricks behind Justin Timberlake's fiancee's red carpet look

With her flawless complexion and stunning features, actress Jessica Biel is one of the hottest women in Hollywood and has snared herself an equally attractive fiancé in the form of singer turned actor Justin Timberlake.

The 30-year-old ‘Total Recall’ star, who has been proudly showing off her engagement ring on the red carpet in recent weeks, always manages to turn heads.

In an exclusive interview, the star’s make up artist Christian McCulloch and hairstylist Oscar Blandi reveal exactly how they help her to keep looking fabulous on the red carpet.

“Jessica likes uncomplicated, unfussy makeup and she takes care of her skin,” reveals Christian. “It’s her natural aesthetic and healthy lifestyle, which are so appealing. She often comes in from a run or yoga.”

So how does he create Jessica’s natural make-up look?

“Jessica has high and broad cheekbones, which take blushers and bronzers well. I layer them on to get a healthy, sculpted look,” says Christian.

To empathise Jessica’s eyes, he smudges eye pencil on them in brown or black close to the lashes and blends before layering the eye with shadow for extra intensity.

“Sticking a few individual false lashes on the outer corner of each eye keeps them big and wide open,” he reveals. “If it’s for evening, start out by curling lashes, mascara-ing, sticking the extra lashes on, then finish with a liquid eyeliner pen close to the lashline.”

Whether it’s bone straight or wavy, Jessica’s hair always looks great and her hairstylist Oscar Blandi says she takes pride in her tresses and often comes up with ideas for new styles herself.

“She knows what she’s looking for,” says Oscar. “She’s open to suggestions, but knows the look she’s looking to create with the hairstylist.

“I always use Oscar Blandi products, like the shine serum Jasmine oil and then the voluminising spray. Apply this on the roots as it gives lift for volume.”

Oscar is quick to add that his client takes great care of her hair.

“Jessica’s hair is always shiny,” he says. “When the hair is in healthy shape the style of it comes naturally, the cut and colour will respond best. I always show Jessica tips on how to condition the hair. But she’s a natural at taking care of her hair.

Oscar favourite hair style for Jessica is a clean blow out, but how can those who don’t have a hairstylist on hand imitate this look?

“Blow dry your hair straight with a round brush and let it fall naturally,” he explains. “From wet hair start with high lift, blow dry it out, add Jasmine oil for shine and bring a curling iron to the end to finish the look.”
