Celebrity couples are notorious for having acrimonious break-ups. It’s become all too common for seemingly happy couples to end up at each other's throats once their relationship is over and many resort to taking shots at each other through the media.

However there are just as many stars who have remained close to their former partners, Courteney Cox and David Arquette say their friendship is stronger than ever since they separated in 2010 and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have continued to work together on talent show ‘Q'Viva! The Chosen’ despite ending their seven year marriage last summer.
