Falling for the Duchess! Kate Middleton’s famous fans

There’s no doubt that in the past 12 months Kate Middleton has managed to charm and wow crowds wherever she’s been.

But little does the Duchess of Cambridge know that she’s picked up a whole host of celebrity admirers along the way, with everyone from Angelina Jolie, 36, to Madonna, 53, and Sarah-Jessica Parker, 47, being huge fans of her impeccable sense of style and friendly demeanour.

Reese Witherspoon, 36, was so enamoured by a brief meeting with Kate last year tat she issued a public plea for the pair to be friends, while Kim Kardashian, 31, claimed the 30-year-old royal is the only person who can understood the furore surrounding her subsequently-doomed wedding to Kris Humphries, 27.

Elsewhere, Anne Hathaway, 29, admitted her initial skepticism about the royal wedding soon turned to total “enchantment” when she saw Kate in her stunning Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress.

Britney Spears, 30, wanted the duchess to be guest of honour at her ‘Femme Fatale’ tour, while Angelina Jolie is keen to write and direct a biopic about her life.

And with the likes of Victoria Beckham, 38, and Dannii Minogue, 40, clamouring to dress her, is there anyone who isn’t desperate to be Kate’s best friend? Seemingly not.
