FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2012
Tulisa Contostavlos has been crowned winner of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2012 poll.
The singer and ‘X Factor’ judge beat off stiff competition from second-place Cheryl Cole, 28, Rihanna, 24 and Pippa Middleton, 28 to bag the hotly-coveted title.
Tulisa, 23, stole the crown from ‘Transformers’ actress Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, 25, who despite winning the award last year, dropped down into 18th place this time around.
“Thank you so much for voting for me,” Tulisa said. “It’s a true honour and definitely a lovely confidence boost. I’m proud of me and I am who I am.
“I know that I’m Marmite and I wouldn’t wanna be anything less or anything more, I’m just myself. I believe in embracing being sexy but I’m not one to agree with stripping off for the cameras, I like to be more subtle than that as these shots show. This is an award that will stay on the mantelpiece probably for the rest of my life.”
Pop princess Katy Perry, 27 – who split from husband Russell Brand in December after 14 months of marriage - landed in sixth place this year, while former poll champion Megan Fox, 25, was ranked at number seven and Mila Kunis, 28, bagged ninth place.
Elsewhere, after her now world-famous bottom propelled her to stardom at last year’s Royal Wedding, Pippa Middleton, 28, narrowly missed out on a top 10 slot after landing in 11th place – substantially higher than her sister, Kate, 30, who managed 32nd place.
Meanwhile, the recent rumoured romance between The Saturdays singer Mollie King, 24, and Prince Harry, 27, seems to have done wonders for her reputation, as she landed in 14th place - despite having never previously made the list before.
But Mollie wasn’t the only one of Harry’s squeezes to have ranked in the top 100, lingerie model Florence Brudenell-Bruce, 26, made it in at 57th place.
However, notably absent from this year’s list were Hollywood bombshell Eva Mendes, 38, pint-sized pop princess Kylie Minogue, 43, and Lindsay Lohan, 25, who recently posed nude for Playboy magazine.
