One Direction party with Swedish blogger
They are faced with a sea of eager fans in whichever corner of the globe they turn, so it’s no wonder One Direction are lapping up the attention they’re receiving from girls.
After heading to Swedish capital Stockholm last week to record tracks for their new album with producers Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk, the British boy band – made up of Harry Styles, 18, Niall Horan, 18, Louis Tomlinson, 20, Zayn Malik, 19, and Liam Payne, 18 – enjoyed a night out on the town.
It was there that Swedish blogger Paulina ‘Paow’ Danielsson, 18, claimed she had a brief kiss with Irish singer Niall.
“I kissed the blonde one,” she told Starlounge. "We partied and flirted a lot and [they] exchanged numbers with a number of girls."
While the pretty blonde admits her smooch with Niall was “not that intimate”, it seems she has her eye on his bandmate, Zayn.
“It was more of a hello-thing, not that intimate”, Paow added. “I like the guy with the dark hair the most. I think they'll be spending a lot of time here. They like Swedish girls."
The band were partying at Stockholm hotspot Beirut Café, which has previously hosted events for the likes of Lady Gaga, 26, and Ashton Kutcher, 34, and were said to be thrilled with the attention they were receiving.
“The mood was great and they were partying. They've been recording all week and had a little finishing-off party,” owner Elias Karroum told Starlounge. “They arrived at 10pm and left at 2am They ate and drank and mingled with some girls and guys who had been invited to the venue.”
But let’s hope Niall hasn’t been texting his new friend Paow too much, as the band recently angered their record label bosses by reportedly running up a £14,000 mobile phone bill on their tours of North America and Australia.
“Like most teenagers, the boys are obsessed with all things social media," a source told the Daily Mirror. “They're also encouraged to tweet by management to keep them interacting with fans but Niall and Liam in particular got pretty homesick during their travels and regularly called home.
"When the bills landed on their doormat, the guys were utterly stunned and slightly devastated thinking they'd have to fork out themselves. In the end they got called in for a meeting and given a lecture on finances and how to handle their money. Their bills got signed off and the boys will not be making the same mistake again."
Niall and Harry are currently single but have been linked to their fair share of girls all over the world in recent weeks, while Zayn is reportedly dating singer Perrie Edwards, 18, who won the UK ‘X Factor’ last year with her band Little Mix.
Meanwhile, Liam is in a relationship with dancer Danielle Peazer and Louis is dating Hollister model and Manchester University student Eleanor Calder.
