Rihanna: “I hate being a size zero”
She may have one of the most enviable bodies in showbiz, but Rihanna has revealed she is not happy being a size zero.
The 24-year-old singer has lost a considerable amount of weight in recent months, but is keen to regain her former curves and is desperate to get her “old butt” back, as she thinks she has gone "too far".
“I'm a size zero and I'm not happy about it!" she told US Weekly magazine. “I went way too far. I prefer myself a bit chunkier. I want my old butt back!"
Last month, the ‘Where Have You Been’ hitmaker was hospitalised following her appearance at the MET Costume Institute Gala in New York, and she admitted she has been “harsh” on her body recently.
“I got no sleep beforehand,” Rihanna said of the incident. “It’s harsh on your body!”
The pop superstar cancelled a recent trip to London to spend time with her family back home in Barbados and she has now posted a video message to her fans, apologising for her lack of contact.
“I know I've been slacking on my social-networking but I'm spending some time with my grandma," she said of her ill relative. "I miss you guys."
