The 38-year-old sports star, who’s worth £165 million, ends his glittering career on a high after winning the French league title with PSG but has decided it’s time to hang up his boots.

When offered a new contract from Paris St Germain, Becks declined, later telling Sportsmail: “I’m thankful to PSG for giving me the opportunity to continue but I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level.”

He continued: “If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over one hundred times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy. I’m fortunate to have realised those dreams.”

Spanning over two decades, Beckham’s career has hit every high point possible seeing the Essex sportsman play for his boyhood club Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Los Angeles Galaxy – not to mention England, 115 times!

But the father-of-four feels the time is right to retire and now has more time to devote to his wife Victoria and his four kids – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruise and Harper.

Tributes from fans, peers and even the Prime Minister are being left as news of Becks’ retirement spreads.

David Cameron said he had enjoyed a “fantastic career as an outstanding footballer and an outstanding ambassador”.

Former England striker Gary Lineker tweeted: “David Beckham has retired. A wonderful player, global superstar and a magnificent ambassador for England and football.”

Goldenballs isn’t retiring from all his footie roles though. He is currently an ambassador for Chinese football and recently teamed up with Sky to champion the benefits of youth spot.

And as long as he’s not bowing out of posing in his underwear for H&M, we think we can live with his decision. Just.

However, the 37-year-old, who lost her mother to cancer at just 56, still carries a 50% risk of developing ovarian cancer and is expected to have her ovaries taken out, according to People magazine.

Jolie’s recent health choices have become the subject of controversy and inspiration this week, so much so, TIME magazine have dedicated their cover story to the iconic beauty, dubbing the article The Angelina Effect.

No stranger to fronting a campaign, the former face of Chanel will be showcasing her tootsies for the fall collection and can’t wait to step in to the shoes of the brand. Literally.

“I’ve always loved fashion and often use it as a way to get into character,” the 45-year-old actress said in a statement about her latest modelling venture. “There is a lot of complexity, mystery and femininity to the Jimmy Choo woman.”

The choice to place Nicole in the spotlight was one of creative director Sandra Choi, who stepped in to the solo role for the first season in her career – and she couldn’t contain her excitement.

“I’m such a great admirer and feel enormously honoured to be working with Nicole Kidman,” said Choi in a statement released yesterday. “Nicole is one of the finest actresses in the world, who I knew could convey the empowered glamour of the brand. In an email to the AP, Queen B’s publicist told the press that doctors orders had been to take a break as she wasn’t in tip top condition.

The Love on Top belter was scheduled to rock the stage at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp yesterday but the show is now to happen at a later date.

Her next stop on her Mrs Carter Tour however, is the same arena tonight.

Fans are awaiting the news whether or not the show will go ahead as yesterday’s statement says Bey is waiting on her doctors’ say so before making a decision.

The cancellation comes amid rumours that the 31-year-old could be expecting a sibling for her and hubbie Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy, but whether the star is poorly or pregnant – you can be sure the whole world will be watching her tum.

The Oscar-winning actress, who’s mother died of ovarian cancer at 56, yesterday went public with the news publishing an op-ed piece in the New York Times revealing both her breasts had been surgically removed to reduce the risk of cancer from 87% to under 5%.

And her man was by her side the whole time.

Brad, who was with Jolie at the Pink Lotus Breast Center throughout the ordeal, told London’s Evening Standard: “Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie’s choice, as well as many others like her, absolutely heroic.”

“I thank our medical team for their care and focus,” the father-of-six said, adding, “All I want is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children… This is a happy day for our family.”

Sharing Brad’s pride was his own mother who also voiced her support for Ange, according to People she said: “We’re so very proud of Angie, this means so much to our family especially our grandchildren. We love her dearly”.

The Hollywood star’s brother James Haven also shared his feelings about her procedure: “My sister, like our mother, always put her children first,” he says in a statement. “I am so grateful to be her brother.”

We’re so glad Ange’s on the mend and it seems like she’s got a jam-packed family ready with some feel-better remedies to nurse her back to health.

The actress opened up about having the surgery in an Op-Ed in the New York Times, explaining her decision to take action.

“My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman.

“Only a fraction of breast cancers result from an inherited gene mutation. Those with a defect in BRCA1 have a 65 percent risk of getting it, on average.

“Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy. I started with the breasts, as my risk of breast cancer is higher than my risk of ovarian cancer, and the surgery is more complex.”

Angelina, who lost her mother at 56 to cancer, revealed she finished the 12-weeks of medical procedures involved with the mastectomies on April 27.

What is additionally remarkable is the Salt star continued her work as special envoy of the United Nations’ refugee agency during that time, including visiting the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda in March and attending a G8 summit in London earlier this month.

The 37-year-old wrote of her relief in the editorial at how she can now honestly tell her children not to worry about her.

“…the decision to have a mastectomy was not easy. But it is one I am very happy that I made. My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer.

“It is reassuring that they see nothing that makes them uncomfortable. They can see my small scars and that’s it. Everything else is just Mommy, the same as she always was. And they know that I love them and will do anything to be with them as long as I can. On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity.”

The mum-of-six also wrote of her fiance and children’s father Brad Pitt’s love and support throughout.

“I am fortunate to have a partner, Brad Pitt, who is so loving and supportive. So to anyone who has a wife or girlfriend going through this, know that you are a very important part of the transition. Brad was at the Pink Lotus Breast Center, where I was treated, for every minute of the surgeries. We managed to find moments to laugh together. We knew this was the right thing to do for our family and that it would bring us closer. And it has.”

The actress and humanitarian also revealed why she chose to go public about her double mastectomy.

“I am writing about it now because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience. Cancer is still a word that strikes fear into people’s hearts, producing a deep sense of powerlessness. But today it is possible to find out through a blood test whether you are highly susceptible to breast and ovarian cancer, and then take action.”

Rihanna, Reese Witherspoon and Pink were among those paying tribute to their mommas on Twitter and Instagram, while Channing Tatum wished his mum and pregnant wife Jenna Dewan a Happy Mother’s Day, and Selena Gomez seemingly confirmed her mother Mandy Teefey is pregnant by posting a pic on Twitter showing her resting her hand on Mandy’s baby bump.

All in all, there’s was certainly no shortage of love to go around on the special day.

Olivia Colman was the ceremony’s big winner taking home both Best Supporting Actress for her role in Accused and Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for Twenty Twelve, which also scooped the Situation Comedy award.

The starry bash at London’s Royal Festival Hall also saw Sheridan Smith beat Sienna Miller, Rebecca Hall and Anne Reid to win the Leading Actress gong for her portrayal of the titular character in Mrs Biggs.

Meanwhile, Ben Whishaw picked up Best Actor for his performance as Richard II in The Hollow Crown.

Other wins saw Alan Carr take home his first BAFTA for Entertainment Performance for Alan Carr Chatty Man, Made in Chelsea scoop the Reality and Constructed Factual award and Girls, created by and starring Lena Dunham, pick up the International TV prize.

Paparazzi heckled the dad-to-be and his pregnant reality star girlfriend Kim Kardashian on Friday as they headed to lunch at 9021Pho in LA before Kanye accidentally bashed his head on a road sign as they snapped away.

According to TMZ, seven-months-pregnant Kim tried to comfort her man by planting a kiss on his forehead but Kanye was livid and exploded, shouting at nearby paps.

The protective soon-to-be pops dropped his bad mood later on that day though, a source reportedly told E!, nodding to a snapper to let him know everything was ok but it looks like that bruise might last for a while.

Ouch.

The pop diva joined The Rolling Stones on their 50 and Counting tour to belt out a rendition of hit Beast of Burden for the lucky crowd at the MGM Grand Arena on Saturday night.

And Katy couldn’t contain her excitement at rolling with Mick and the gang.

“Yes, I just did gyrated on Mick Jagger. WHAT?! #Stones50,” she tweeted after coming off stage.

The Wide Awake singer hasn’t been the only famous face to perform with the Stones on the band’s 50th anniversary tour – Gwen Stefani and Tom Waits have also taken to the stage to sing with the rock legends and more music stars are set to follow.

It turns out our royal redhead is no different as Harry made his way to the White House to surprise guests at a tea party honouring military mothers – and get himself a cup of char, no doubt.

Michelle Obama had invited the 28-year-old army officer to the event to welcome him on the first leg of his seven-day US tour – the first time he’s been Stateside since those naughty Las Vegas snaps last year – and he was greeted with a standing ovation.

As the Prince walked into the building’s East Room, The First Lady told her guests: “Well, surprise”.

Mrs Obama then told of Harry’s military work, saying: “In January he returned from his second deployment to Afghanistan. He has spent much of his time supporting our wounded warriors and the families of our fallen.

“We are absolutely thrilled he could be with us today. He just arrived in DC. He only has a limited time here. But when he heard about this tea and all of you, he wanted to be here to personally thank you for all your service.”

After cheers and whoops, Harry spent time with some of the 170 mothers, grandmothers and youngsters celebrating America’s Mother’s Day by chowing down on some afternoon snacks and chatting.

The actress has branded this year’s Costume Institute shindig as …totally meh.

“I’m never going again. It was so un-fun,” she told USA Today.

The supermodel has been unveiled as the new face – and body – of self-tan giant St. Tropez, and she looks jaw-droppingly youthful and beautiful in the images.

“St. Tropez is a trustworthy brand, people know it and it’s a natural-looking tan – what people don’t want is something orange,” the 39-year-old said. “I’ve been using the products since they started.”

Photos released from the campaign see Kate wearing a white Melissa Odabash swimsuit, while another captures her nude and laying on her stomach. Behind the scenes snaps show the brand’s ‘Ultimate Tan’ being applied to Kate’s lithe limbs, plus her hair and make-up being tended to.

And Kate admits she feels better when she’s bronzed:

“When you’ve got a tan it definitely helps with your confidence,” she said. “You look in the mirror and think: ‘Ooh, I look quite healthy! I feel awful, but I look great!’”

“[St. Tropez] does it so well that you do look natural, you don’t have that fear, which I always did, of going streaky and not being able to fix it.”

Proving she’s no Material Girl, the singer let the 1921 painting by cubist Fernand Léger go under the hammer at Sotheby’s in New York on Tuesday to benefit her charity, the Ray of Light Foundation.

Art-loving Madge originally purchased the ‘Three Women at the Red Table’ painting from the auction house in 1990 for £2.2 million – less than half the amount the new owner paid for the piece.

And Brit reveals that involves a mixed fitness regime: “I’m doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio, hour-long sessions three times a week, with my trainer, Tony Martinez.”

Alongside exercise the pop princess watches what she eats, following the Nutrisystem weight loss programme and staying away from her favourite snacks.

“Dieting is tough because my specialties are spaghetti, brownies and chocolate chip cookies,” she says. “I try not to make those too often or I’ll eat the whole bowl of dough.”

Megan is currently in New York City filming Jonathan Liebesman‘s slant on the story and the former Transformers star was caught on camera.

Whether she was having a lunchtime workout or shooting scenes for the film, we weren’t sure, but new-mum Meg sure was looking tip-top.

With her dark, tousled tresses falling loose around her shoulders and her oh so natural make-up, the American actress showed off the film’s subtle interpretation of the female lead.

Making her debut as Channel 6′s sexy TV reporter, Meg’s costume may be a touch more toned down than that of the TMNT comic book series but we won’t dash your hopes yet, lads, there may be a PVC suit on the horizon soon.

The 32-year-old pregnant star wore a floral Givenchy gown featuring a train, thigh split and gloved sleeves to the annual ball at The Metropolitan Museum of Art causing many to scratch their heads at the frock.

A Vine video posted by supermodel Coco Rocha shows the rapper serenading his floral lady, singing, “You’re so awesome”.

Coco posted the clip on her Twitter page, writing, “Kanye telling Kim not to worry what anyone says that she’s awesome. Quite touching really.”

Awww. We think so too.

But it wasn’t just Kanye feeling proud of his girl. Kim showed she was equally delighted with her man, who also sang his new song, I Am a God, at the gala, by posting a picture on Instagram showing him on stage wearing a studded Givenchy ensemble including a leather skirt and boots. She captioned the snap: “Baby you’re AWESOME”.

Stars including Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie and Anne Hathaway embraced this year’s exhibition theme – Punk: Chaos to Couture – paying homage to the movement with their outfits and styling for the Costume Institute Ball 2013.

From subtle nods to all out punk the red carpet was awash with fishnets, little leather jackets, tartan, studs and spikes. Hair was also a major focus with Sarah Jessica Parker adding an elaborate gold and black feather Philip Treacy Mohican headpiece to her outfit, while Anne Hathaway showcased her newly-bleached tresses and Nicole Richie turned her locks bright white for the night.

From Madonna flashing her bottom in Givenchy to Miley Cyrus in her punk element in a fishnet dress and Sienna Miller rocking some serious studs, the stars certainly didn’t disappoint.

Taking inspiration from the punk subculture of the mid-Seventies and early-eighties, the A-List showcased extreme hairstyles, elaborate headpieces, daring make-up and intricate nails to create a veritable feast for the eyes.

The 28-year-old actress and Klaxons keyboard player, 29, wed in an intimate ceremony on Saturday May 5 in the small village of Mazan in Provence, where Keira and her family have owned an estate since 2010, according to People magazine.

The couple, who were first spotted stepping out together during spring 2011 after reportedly being introduced by Alexa Chung, got engaged in May last year.

The mid-morning wedding, held at the town hall, was performed by the mayor of Mazan and is said to have lasted around half an hour before the newlyweds headed to an afternoon garden reception and evening party, reportedly attended  by 30 to 50 guests.

The Atonement star picked a strapless tulle Rodarte dress, Chanel jacket and ballet pumps for her special day, with loose hair and a daisy headdress as finishing touches. The knee-length frock is thought to have been one Keira wore to a BAFTA event in 2008.

Lindsay Lohan has now reportedly checked into the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage in California quashing rumours the star had gone AWOL.

TMZ says she enrolled in the rehab facility late Thursday night just before the court-ordered May 2 deadline deal expired, narrowly avoiding a possible arrest warrant being issued.

Lindsay reportedly re-hired her former lawyer Shawn Holley to get Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White to agree to the Betty Ford Centre for her rehab stay.

It’s not the first time Lins has stayed at the rehab facility, she sought treatment there back in 2010 too.

TMZ states the judge is yet to sign off on Betty Ford, but says that will just be an issue of paperwork.

Let’s see how far into the 90 days LiLo gets this time.

Friday May 3:

When Lindsay Lohan posted a picture on Instagram showing her sitting among piles of clothes with the caption “90 days and 270 looks”, it seemed as though she was ready to begin her court-ordered 3-month stint in rehab.

However, no sooner had the troubled actress arrived at Morningside Recovery Center in Newport Beach, California, she left again and her whereabouts are now currently unknown. There are reports she headed back to LAX airport for a flight to New York and there’s speculation she could be on her way to Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, New York, thought to be where she was originally due to enrol.

What we do know is Morningside is not the treatment centre the court vetted for Lindsay to spend 90 days in as part of her plea deal in her reckless driving case.

During a court hearing earlier in the day (May 2), Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White said he was “completely blindsided” by Li-Lo’s decision to check into Morningside and argued the 26-year-old’s actions violated her plea deal because she was not enrolling in a pre-approved clinic.

During the same hearing Lindsay’s lawyer Mark Heller had assured judge James R. Dabney the Mean Girls star had arrived at the facility and was settling in and it had been agreed she could remain at Morningside while the court checked out its credentials.

“My client is ensconced in the bosom of that facility right now,” Heller said in court. “She’s in rehab right now. Nothing bad is going to happen.”

Hmmm.

There’s also talk Morningside is not able to perform the kind of in-patient care Lindsay accepted to undertake as part of her plea deal, however with the actress now AWOL that may no longer be a concern.

All we can say is, watch this space.

Potentially, for Katy Perry, as last night the pop idol took to Twitter to reveal the design of her brand new perfume Killer Queen ahead of its sneak preview later that night.

“OK! I have been working on my 3rd fragrance for over a year & want to unveil the look NOW! What do you think?!” she tweeted along with a snap of her snazzy perfume bottle.

Moving away from her previous cat-themed fragrances Purr and Meow, the ruby coloured ‘royal juice’ is rather different, taking inspiration from the regal rather than the feline – we wonder how KatyCats will feel about that?

At its exclusive launch in New York yesterday, Katy perched on a gold throne at the James B. Duke Mansion for the night, posing with her sceptre-style scent. The 28-year-old was dressed in a strapless floral Thom Browne gown with crown-like jewels adorning her freshly manicured baroque nails. Fit for a Queen? We think so.

Mud star Reese was charged with disorderly conduct and her talent agent hubby charged with DUI after the Georgia State Police pulled the couple over early that Friday morning.

Speaking candidly to ABC News, the Hollywood actress said she panicked at the time and is now embarrassed and ashamed of her actions.

“We went out to dinner in Atlanta and we had one too many glasses of wine. We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not… it was completely unacceptable and we are so sorry and embarrassed, we know better and we shouldn’t have done that,” confessed Reese.

“I was so disrespectful to him,” she admitted whilst talking about her arresting officer. “I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It’s just unacceptable.”

The mother-of-three also revealed that telling her two eldest children Ava, 13, and Deacon, 9, was the “hardest part”.

She said: “When you make a mistake, you take responsibility, and we are taking responsibility, and we are doing everything within our power to make it right.”

According to People Magazine, Reese has reportedly been ordered to pay a $213 fine. Husband Jim Toth avoided jail time and will also pay a fee.

TMZ report that Toth has additionally been placed on a 12-month probation, ordered to perform 40-hours of community service and attend an alcohol education programme.

The actress must spend 90-days in a locked rehabilitation facility as part of a plea deal she accepted for charges relating to a car crash in June 2012 in Los Angeles while still on probation. Avoiding possible jail time, Lindsay pleaded no contest to reckless driving and lying to police.

She must also complete 30 days of community service and 18 months of psychotherapy as part of the deal.

After much speculation about which rehab centre LiLo would choose, E! News reports a source as saying the 26-year-old is headed to Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, California.

And, it seems Lindsay doesn’t want to be caught short fashion-wise during her stay in rehab. She’s posted a picture on Instagram showing her sitting amongst stacks of clothes at her apartment with the caption: “90 days and 270 looks.”

Returning to the high street brand after fronting H&M’s spring’s 2011 look book, the Brazilian supermodel was snapped in London shooting for their Autumn/Winter 2013-14 campaign (is it that time already!?).

We haven’t seen a peep of the final campaign shots yet, but the brand have released behind-the-scenes preview pictures to give us a taste of what’s in store.

Snuggly jumpers, skin tight nude jeans, khaki pants and flat caps all feature in the sneak peek of the fall collection which was shot in and around the streets of the capital.

But it wasn’t all work, work, work for the mum-of-two as 4-month-old-daughter Vivian visited her mamma on set. Cute.

Gisele’s baby girl has been traveling with her of late, hitting Los Angeles, New York and London so the two can spend as much time together as possible. And it looks like their little girls’ trip has come at the right time since the fashion model’s other half, Tom Brady, just started spring training with American Football club New England Patriots.

The Ted actress has been named FHM’s ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’, beating of stiff (ahem) competition from the likes of second-placed Rihanna, ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan in third and Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton in eighth to claim the number one spot on the magazine’s 100 Sexiest Women 2013 list.

While 29-year-old Mila rose eight places from last year’s poll to take this year’s crown, 2012 winner X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, 24, drops ten places to 11th in the mag’s latest survey.

“She’s cute, she’s sexy, she’s funnier than 50 sitcoms – Mila’s basically the Dream Girlfriend,” says the mag of their new Sexiest Woman in the World.

Meanwhile, soap star Helen scooped Sexiest Woman in the UK, Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton was named FHM’s Sexiest Woman in Sport and presenter Laura Whitmore was crowned Sexiest Woman on Telly.

We think the green-eyed monster may have erupted inside of Chris Brown as he unfollowed on/off love Rihanna on Twitter on Tuesday after pictures of her smooching a fan surfaced online.

Mystery man Justin LaBoy posted the snap of the Diamonds singer kissing his cheek and captioned it: “Me & the wife @Badgalriri out here tonight.”

Wife!? That’s gotta hurt.

In true Chris and Ri’s relationship style, the Fine China singer reacted on social media by unfollowing her then re-following his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

The rapper also tweeted: “Just remember to keep ya muth*f*ckin head up.”

Hmmm. A bad sign for the recently reunited twosome? Sure looks like it.

Just like Shakira and her beau Gerard Piqué did before the birth of their son Milan, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are asking their families, friends and fans to donate to a good cause rather than shower them in gifts ahead of the arrival of their baby.

The couple are expecting their first child together with Kim’s due date in July.

Rather than gifts or expensive designer baubles, Kimye would like anyone wanting to buy them a present to donate to the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Kanye’s hometown of Chicago.

A statement from the hospital has thanked the two K’s for their generous gesture.

“Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kayne West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital. We wish them all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund which will help care for the most critically-ill babies and their families.”

Nice one Kimye.

Building on her success, Victoria Beckham is planning on opening a flagship store for her brand in London.

Following a tour last month of Beijing and Hong Kong to launch a limited edition Range Rover, which she helped to design, and to promote her VB range, the singer-turned-designer has returned to her British roots to set up shop.

“This is where I want to have my first store…I’d like to do something that is really new, really fresh. Something a little bit conceptual but not too much,” she told Vogue at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday.

The mum-of-four’s label is currently sold through luxury department stores and e-boutiques such as Net-a-Porter but the 38-year-old hopes to flog her wares in her own high-end store.

Could it be the old Spar on Battersea Park Road we saw VB buying in March… Well, you didn’t think she was going to fill it with fruit, veg and vodka did you?

With her husband Prince William, 30, away on duty with his helicopter search and rescue squadron at RAF Valley in north Wales, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge continued to show her support for Children’s Hospice Week and spent her and Wills’ second wedding anniversary visiting Naomi House Children’s Hospice in London.

The 31-year-old, who wore a peach-coloured Tara Jarmon coat over a paler peach dress with her go-to cream LK Bennett heels, met and chatted to the families and children who visit the center for respite care.

Among those is 8-year-old patient Sally Evans who presented Kate with a bouquet of white flowers. “She wished her happy anniversary and thanked her for choosing to come,” Sally’s mother Sarah told People about her daughter’s chat with the Duchess. 

“She’s so natural with everyone,” Graham Butland, chief executive of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, which Kate’s a patron of, told the publication. “One advantage of not being born royal is that you are natural – and she has not lost that,” he said.

“She is able to communicate with people at all levels. She is going to be a great mum, no doubt about that.”

The fact it was Kate and William’s second anniversary didn’t go unmarked though as the Duchess was presented with a picture made by the children from Naomi House of The Very Hungry Caterpillar from the children’s book created out of felt and paper.

Presenting the gift to Kate, hospice chairman professor Khalid Aziz said: “We thought we’d give you something not only to say thank you for being here but something to commemorate your anniversary because it’s on cotton and possibly something that you might be able to use in the nursery.”

Kate is due to give birth to her and William’s first child in July so will have a mini royal with them for their third anniversary.

Now it’s the turn of the 23-year-old Fine China singer’s father Clinton Brown, who appears less than happy about their rekindled romance.

“I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together, Breezy’s dad told The New York Daily News.

It appears Brown Snr. is fearful, given his son’s troubled past and the tragic fate of stars that have gone before him, of what the future holds for Brown Jnr.

“I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse —I mean I could go on and on,” he said in the candid interview with the newspaper. “Is that a given – that you can’t have fortune and fame without [death] being the end result?”

Bringing it back to Chris dating Ri-Ri, Clinton added: “You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical, but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical.”

Clinton can however see why his son is smitten with the 25-year-old superstar, saying: “she’s beautiful, she’s exotic, she’s successful,” and he concedes it helps that Ri’s also well versed in the fame game.

“You just need that person who will listen to you without judging, who knows what it feels like. If he talks to someone who’s not in the business they may not understand.”

Sounds like Chris’ pops could come around yet. 

After posting an Instagram snap of on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez nuzzling his cheek just over a week ago, the Boyfriend singer has shared another revealing pic suggesting the twosome may have rekindled their romance.

The photo shows Justin, topless (of course), sat at his laptop working on songs whilst Spring Breakers star Selena clings to his back.

Okay, so he’s not incredibly subtle for popping this online in the first place, but the teen idol then captioned it: “‘You’ve been makin music for too long babe come cuddle’-her”

There’s no official statement to say these two are 100% back on but judging by the recent stream of social media PDA’s, we’re guessing a reunion is on the cards.

Our maternity style muse, she’s continued to dress her blossoming tum in fashionable threads and yesterday was no exception.

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a cotton, mint green Mulberry coat with a cappuccino-colored Whiteley hat as she attended the national meeting of the annual Scouting Parade.

The pastel dress-coat is from the British brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection and was available for £1,750 from www.mulberry.com but like many of her wardrobe wears – yep, you guessed it – it sold out.
